MICHAEL MCWILLIAMS
Fish in a Tadpole Pond
Acrylic on 18th century Georgian mahogany wine table with turned pedestal and tripod base
74 h x 47.5 diameter
Michael McWilliams lives in the northern Tasmanian town of Perth. The Norfolk Plains and northern Midlands area provide endless inspiration for his landscape paintings which often showcase both native and exotic animals and plants. While there is often an environmental message in his paintings, Michael's careful and considered use of themes such as endangered species, or the impact of introduced species, is always balanced with humour and respect.
Michael exhibits with Lauraine Diggins Fine Art in Melbourne and Handmark Gallery in Hobart.
We encourage you to place bids prior to 5th October by contacting Denise Robinson at the Alcorso Foundation 0447 125 541.
