The Culinary and Cultural Event of the Year

Guests were treated to a night to remember at MONA on Saturday 8 October, 2011.

On Saturday 8 October the Foundation welcomed over 180 guests to MONA to celebrate ten years of philanthropic work in Tasmania. Guests not only savoured the culinary delights of our guest chef, Nicolas Poelaert of Melbourne's Embrasse restaurant but raised a record $48,000 towards the Foundation's programs across the arts, environment and social justice.
2011 Arts Residency recipient, Helen Noonan opened the evening treating guests to a operatic performance.
The Honourable Lara Giddings presented the Foundation's inaugural $10,000 Viticulture Fellowship to Paul Smart of Pressing Matters, Coal River Valley.
Guest speaker, Nene Manasseh captivated guests with her story 'My voice is one of many'.
Artworks were collected by ten very lucky discerning bidders, and
The beautiful Maria Lurighi enthralled guests with her superb vocal gift.
